Amarvilas is only 600 metres from the Taj Mahal and can be accessed by rail or car from Delhi. The Agra Cantonment station is 9 km from the hotel or a 20-minute drive away. The Shatabdi Express takes just two hours to reach Delhi from Agra. By car, the best route to take is the Delhi-Agra highway via Mathura. The journey takes approximately 3 hours and there are petrol stations and restaurants along the way.

Sikandra is the tomb of Akbar, the famous Mughal emperor, located 4 kilometres from the hotel and is one of the most spectacular monuments in Agra. Fatehpur sikri is 38 kilometres from the hotel . This perfectly preserved ancient city blends the best of the Mughal and Rajput architecture. Keoladeo National Park is the one and half hours drive from Agra.
